Biography
Clay Bartels was an American television editor. He worked on numerous series from the 1960s to the 1980s, including Lost in Space (1965), Get Smart (1965), Little House on the Prairie (1974), Hill Street Blues (1981) and Hunter (1984).
Bartels received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Film Editing for a Series for his work on Hill Street Blues in 1981. He was born on 30 December 1923 in California and died on 21 September 2013 in Glendale, California.
