Biography
Clement Ishmael is a composer, conductor and arranger. He is British-born Canadian and trained in composition and conducting at the University of Toronto and the Royal Conservatory of Music. He has served as worldwide music supervisor for Disney’s The Lion King.
His television credits include composing music for one episode of the series Red Dwarf (1999). Theatre work encompasses music direction and arrangement for West End productions including Five Guys Named Moe, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Smokey Joe’s Café and Soul Train. He has also composed operas, chamber music and other classical works performed internationally and broadcast by BBC Television and Radio.
