Biography
Cliff Eidelman is an American composer and conductor. Born in Los Angeles, he began formal musical training on the violin at the age of eight and later studied at Santa Monica College and the University of Southern California.
He scored his first feature film, Magdalene, in 1989. His breakthrough came with the score for Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991). Subsequent credits include Christopher Columbus: The Discovery (1992), My Girl 2 (1994), Now and Then (1995), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005) and He's Just Not That Into You (2009). He has also composed concert works and conducted orchestras including the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
