Biography
Cody Jacobs is an American cinematographer and lighting technician. He has worked extensively as a gaffer and chief lighting technician on feature films and television series, and has more recently taken on director of photography credits.
Jacobs served as gaffer on Atlanta (2016–2022), Blonde (2022), Destroyer (2018), Brigsby Bear (2017) and Guava Island (2019). He was chief lighting technician on Hurry Up Tomorrow (2025) and cinematographer on episodes of Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024). On the Apple TV+ series Widow's Bay (2026), he was one of the cinematographers, sharing duties with Christian Sprenger across four episodes.
