Biography
Colin Baker is an English actor born on 8 June 1943 in Waterloo, London. He initially trained as a solicitor before studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
He is known for playing Paul Merroney in the BBC series The Brothers (1974–1976) and Commander Maxil in the Doctor Who serial Arc of Infinity (1983). Baker subsequently portrayed the sixth incarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who (1984–1986). He has appeared in other television roles including Bayban in Blake's 7 (1980) and has worked extensively in theatre and audio drama.
