Biography
Colin Cairnes is an Australian filmmaker, one half of the Cairnes Brothers writing and directing duo with his sibling Cameron. He works as a director, writer and editor, primarily in horror and comedy.
The brothers made their feature debut with the horror comedy 100 Bloody Acres (2012). They followed it with the horror film Scare Campaign (2016). Cairnes has also directed television series including Fancy Boy (2016–2017) and episodes of True Story with Hamish & Andy (2018).
Their third feature, the supernatural horror Late Night with the Devil (2023), on which Cairnes served as writer, director and editor, stars David Dastmalchian.
