Biography
Colin McCredie is a Scottish actor. He was born on 8 June 1972 in Dumbarton and grew up in Perth. He began acting as a child at Perth Theatre and the Scottish Youth Theatre, then trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, graduating in 1993.
His film roles include Cameron in Shallow Grave (1994) and Graham Ogilvy in The Last Bus (2021). On television he is best known for playing DC Stuart Fraser in the STV series Taggart (1995–2010, over 75 episodes) and Nick Morrison in River City. He has also appeared in Outlander (2016) and worked extensively in Scottish theatre.
McCredie is a patron of the Scottish Youth Theatre.
