Biography
Colin Monie is a film and television editor from Glasgow, Scotland. After studying film and drama at university, he began working in the BBC Film Unit in Glasgow and has worked as a freelance editor since the early 1990s.
His feature credits include The Magdalene Sisters (2002), Water (2005), Young Adam (2003), Hallam Foe (2007), Neds (2010) and Good Omens (2019). He has edited multiple episodes of the television series Shetland (2013 onwards) and documentaries including Jig (2011).
His work has contributed to projects that received BAFTA awards, festival prizes at Venice, San Sebastián and Edinburgh, and an Academy Award nomination for Water.
