Biography

Colleen Halsey is a film and television editor. She trained at UCLA and the San Francisco Art Institute, and joined the Editors Guild in 1985 while working on Down and Out in Beverly Hills.

She frequently collaborates with her husband, Academy Award-winning editor Richard Halsey. Their joint credits include Edward Scissorhands (1990), on which Halsey received her first co-editing credit, Sister Act (1992) and So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993). She also worked for six years in animation editing at Disney and later edited numerous films for the Hallmark Network and Lifetime.
