Biography
Conor McPherson is an Irish playwright, screenwriter and director. Born in Dublin in 1971, he studied at University College Dublin, where he began writing plays, and founded the Fly by Night Theatre Company.
His stage work includes The Weir, which opened at the Royal Court Theatre in 1997 before transferring to the West End and Broadway. Film credits include writing and directing The Eclipse (2009) and the screenplay for Artemis Fowl (2020).
