Biography
Corbin Bleu is an American actor and singer. Born on 21 February 1989 in Brooklyn, New York, he trained at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a theatre major. He first gained prominence for his role as Chad Danforth in the Disney Channel film High School Musical (2006) and its sequels High School Musical 2 (2007) and High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008).
Bleu has appeared in several Broadway productions, including as a replacement for Usnavi in In the Heights (2010), Jesus in the revival of Godspell (2012), Ted Hanover in Holiday Inn (2016–2017) and Bill Calhoun in the revival of Kiss Me, Kate (2019). He won the Chita Rivera Award for Outstanding Male Dancer in a Broadway Show for his performance in Holiday Inn.
