Biography
Corinne Masiero is a French actress born on 3 February 1964 in Douai, France. She began acting in her late twenties, starting in theatre before appearing on screen.
She is known for her lead role in the 2012 film Louise Wimmer, for which she received a César Award nomination for Best Actress. Other film roles include Anna in Rust and Bone (2012), Marion in 11.6 (2013) and Éliane in Suzanne (2013). On television she has played the title role in the series Capitaine Marleau since 2015 and appeared in Fais pas ci, fais pas ça.
Masiero has been involved in left-wing politics, standing as a candidate for the Left Front in Roubaix in 2014 and supporting La France insoumise in 2017. In 2021 she protested at the César Awards against proposed Covid-19 restrictions.
