Biography
Cornelius Brandreth is a British-American actor. He made his professional debut playing Maurice in the BBC series Lord of the Flies (2026), adapted by Jack Thorne and directed by Marc Munden.
He was discovered by casting director Nina Gold in a nationwide open call and filmed on location in Malaysia with a cast of 30 boys. Brandreth is also appearing as Terence Higgs in the Harry Potter television series (2026). Born in London to actress Kosha Engler and barrister Benet Brandreth KC, he is the grandson of broadcaster and former MP Gyles Brandreth.
