Biography
Count Stovall is an American actor. Born on 15 January 1946 in East Los Angeles, he was raised in East Oakland and served in the US Army before studying at Merritt College and the University of California. He trained at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theatre and began his professional career in 1970 with the national tour of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play No Place to Be Somebody.
Stovall has appeared in numerous stage productions, including several on Broadway such as Driving Miss Daisy (2010) and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (2008). On television he has had recurring roles in daytime soaps including As the World Turns (1985–1989) and All My Children. His screen credits include episodes of Kojak (1977), Law & Order (1990), The Good Wife (2009), Madam Secretary (2016) and the series The Four Seasons (2025), in which he played a youth pastor.
