Biography
Craig Chester is an American actor and screenwriter. Born on 8 November 1965 in West Covina, California, he trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. He made his film debut in Swoon (1992), for which he received an Independent Spirit Award nomination, and appeared in other independent films including I Shot Andy Warhol (1996) and Kill Your Darlings (2013).
Chester wrote, directed and starred in Adam & Steve (2005). He published the memoir Why the Long Face?: The Adventures of a Truly Independent Actor in 2003. His television writing credits include episodes of The Big Gay Sketch Show (2007–2010), True Blood (2014) and Insatiable (2018).
