Biography
Crockett Doob is a film editor. He edited Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012), directed by Behn Zeitlin, alongside Affonso Gonçalves.
Born in Brooklyn, Doob is the son of documentary cinematographer Nick Doob. He grew up making films with Zeitlin from the age of six and began work on Beasts of the Southern Wild from a location near the Louisiana production.
His other credits as editor include the short Glory at Sea (2008) and the television movie From Mambo to Hip Hop: A South Bronx Tale (2006). He has also contributed additional editing to Ghostbox Cowboy (2018) and worked as an assistant editor and camera operator.
