Biography
Crystal Chesney (also credited as Crystal Chesney-Thompson) is an American animation director. She joined Rough Draft Studios in 2000 as a layout artist on Futurama and later became a staff director at the studio.
She has directed episodes of Futurama (from 2010), Disenchantment (2021–2023), Dawn of the Croods (2016–2017), The Boys Presents: Diabolical (2022) and other series including Napoleon Dynamite (2012) and Clash-A-Rama! (2018–2019). Earlier credits include work as an assistant sequence director on The Simpsons Movie (2007) and roles in animation and art departments on various features and television productions.
