Biography
Crystal Nix-Hines is a writer and producer for American television. She began her career as a reporter for The New York Times before studying law, graduating from Harvard Law School in 1990. After working in legal practice and at the US State Department, she moved into television writing in the early 2000s.
She contributed to the series Alias (2001) as writer, teleplay writer and executive story editor, and wrote episodes of The Practice (1997) and Commander in Chief (2005). She also served as producer or consulting producer on these programmes.
