Biography
Cui Zhigang is a Chinese actor. He began working in the industry at the end of 1978 and appeared in early films including Meeting 20 Years Later (1984) and Jing ji sha che (1985).
He is known for his role as Doctor Gao in Zhang Yimou's Raise the Red Lantern (1991). Later credits include Eunuch Hou in the series Joy of Life (2019), Gong Kaijiang in The Knockout (2023), and Tutu Wenzhen in Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty (2022). He has also appeared in multiple works directed by Zhao Baogang.
Cui is married to Zhou Ling, an actor with the National Theatre of China.
