Biography
Cynthia Addai-Robinson is an English-born American actress. She was born in London on 12 January 1985 to a Ghanaian mother and an American father. She moved to the United States at the age of four and was raised in the Washington, D.C. area. She graduated from Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, Maryland, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She also trained at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute.
Addai-Robinson began her professional career with guest roles in television series from 2002. She is known for her portrayal of Naevia in the Starz series Spartacus (2012–2013), Amanda Waller in the CW series Arrow (2013–2016), Nadine Memphis in the USA Network series Shooter (2016–2018), and Queen Regent Míriel in the Amazon Prime series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022–). She has also appeared in films including Colombiana (2011) and The Accountant (2016).
