Biography
Cynthia Scheider (née Bebout) is an American film editor. She began her career acting in off-Broadway productions in New York in the early 1960s before moving into film editing.
Scheider worked as an assistant editor on The French Connection (1971) and Sorcerer (1977). She received editing credits on Breaking Away (1979), Chilly Scenes of Winter (1979), Eyewitness (1981), Without a Trace (1983), The Legend of Billie Jean (1985), The Men's Club (1986) and batteries not included (1987), among other films. She was married to actor Roy Scheider from 1962 until their divorce in the mid-1980s.
