Biography
Cyrille Aufort is a French composer of film and television scores. Born in 1974 in Paris, he studied at the music conservatories in Paris and Lyon, where he won several prizes. He began his career composing for theatre, short films and animation before moving into feature films.
His early feature credits include Hell (2006) and Splice (2010). In 2012 he co-composed the score for A Royal Affair with Gabriel Yared. Other film work includes Knock (2017) and The Other Story (2018). Aufort has also scored documentaries, notably March of the Penguins 2: The Next Step (2017), for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited Series, Movie or Special.
