Biography
D. C. Moore is a British playwright and television screenwriter. Born David Moore in 1980 in Duston, Northamptonshire, he is based in London. He began as an assistant director, working with Rupert Goold, and participated in the Royal Court Theatre's Young Writers' Programme.
His stage work includes the plays Alaska (2007), for which he won the inaugural Tom Erhardt Award in 2008, and The Empire (2010). On television he created the comedy-drama series Not Safe for Work (2015) and wrote episodes of Killing Eve (2019) and Temple (2019). He created and wrote the historical drama Mary & George (2024).
