Biography
Daisy Coulam is a British television writer and producer. She created the long-running ITV series Grantchester (2014–present), adapting James Runcie's mystery stories, and has written multiple episodes across its run. She also created and wrote the Channel 4 miniseries Deadwater Fell (2020).
Coulam is from Ryde on the Isle of Wight. Her early television work included storylining on Family Affairs and script editing on The Bill. She trained via the BBC Writers Academy and contributed episodes to Doctors, EastEnders, Casualty and Holby City. She later wrote for primetime series including Death in Paradise (2014) and Humans (2018).
