Biography
Daliah Lavi was an Israeli actress, singer and model. Born Daliah Lewinbuk in Haifa in 1942, she made her screen debut in the Swedish film Hemsöborna (1955) after studying ballet in Stockholm.
She appeared in a range of European and American productions during the 1960s, including Two Weeks in Another Town (1962), The Whip and the Body (1963), Lord Jim (1965), Ten Little Indians (1965), The Silencers (1966) and Casino Royale (1967), in which she played the agent known as The Detainer. Lavi later achieved success as a singer in Germany.
