Biography
Dallas Goldtooth is an American actor, writer and comedian of Mdewakanton Dakota and Diné heritage. He is an enrolled citizen of the Lower Sioux Indian Community. Born on 3 May 1983 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, he co-founded the Native American sketch comedy group the 1491s and has worked as a Dakota language instructor and environmental activist.
Goldtooth is best known for playing the recurring character Spirit (William Knifeman) in the FX series Reservation Dogs (2021–2023), on which he also served as a writer for seasons two and three. His other acting credits include roles in Rutherford Falls (2022), Ghosts (2022), Fallout (2024), Echo (2024), Rez Ball (2024) and The Last Frontier (2025).
