Biography

Damián García is a Mexican cinematographer. His credits include the Disney+ series Andor (2022), for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination for the episode "Rix Road".

He has worked as director of photography on feature films including Güeros (2014), El Infierno (2010), I'm No Longer Here (2019), Desierto (2015), Mars (2016), Jungleland (2020), Museo (2018) and The Precocious and Brief Life of Sabina Rivas (2012). García won the Silver Ariel for Best Cinematography for Güeros and I'm No Longer Here. He is the son of filmmaker Carlos García Agraz.
