Biography
Damien Smith is an American film and television editor. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a degree in TV-film production in 2002.
Smith began his career in sound editing and foley work, contributing to films such as Blood Diamond (2006) and series including The Newsroom (2012). He later focused on picture editing, with credits on Designated Survivor (2016–2019), Deputy (2020), Yellowjackets (2021), The Recruit (2022–2025) and Manhunt (2024). He has received two Primetime Emmy nominations and one win among eleven total nominations.
