Biography
Dan Deacon is an American composer and electronic musician. Born in West Babylon, New York, he is based in Baltimore, Maryland.
He began releasing solo albums in 2003 and has scored films and series including Twixt (2011, with Osvaldo Golijov), Hustle (2022), Venom: The Last Dance (2024) and the series Task (2025). His score for the documentary Ascension (2021) won an award at the Cinema Eye Honors.
Deacon has also released albums such as Mystic Familiar (2020) on Domino Records.
