Biography
Dan Karlok is a director and cinematographer. He directed the seventh-season episode "Barter" of the series Law & Order (1997), having previously worked in the camera and electrical department on 66 episodes of the show between 1991 and 1995.
His directing credits include the documentaries Asleep at the Wheel: The Making of 'Ride with Bob' (1999) and Antone's: Home of the Blues (2004), as well as Joan Rivers: Exit Laughing (2016) and Crappy Mother's Day (2021). He is a two-time Emmy Award winner for his work on Ride with Bob and received a Grammy nomination for best long-form video for the same project.
