Biography

Daniel Ades (1932–1992) was a Cuban-born American actor. He appeared in supporting roles in films and on television from the late 1960s until the early 1990s.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Ades moved to the United States with his family in the late 1930s. He studied theatrical arts, began his career on the Broadway stage and spent over fifteen years working in stock companies. His screen work began with a guest role in an episode of the television series 12 O'Clock High.

Ades is credited as Perucho in Werner Herzog's Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972). Other film appearances include Targets (1968), The Missouri Breaks (1976, as Dan Ades), 10 to Midnight (1983), Real Genius (1985) and Tequila Sunrise (1988, as Daniel Addes). He also made guest appearances in series including Hawaii Five-O, The Rockford Files and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. He was married to Margaret Patricia Cromer from 1972 until his death.
