Biography
Daniel Gerroll is an English actor. Born in London on 16 October 1951, he studied law and philosophy at the University of Nottingham before training at the Central School of Speech and Drama. He began his career in British theatre, reaching the West End in 1976.
Gerroll is known for his extensive stage work in both Britain and the United States, winning a Theatre World Award for The Slab Boys and Knuckle, an Outer Critics Circle Award for Translations, and an Obie Award for sustained excellence of performance. His film credits include Henry Stallard in Chariots of Fire (1981), as well as Big Business (1988) and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014). Television appearances include roles in Seinfeld, Sex and the City, Blue Bloods and The Blacklist. He has been married to actress Patricia Kalember since 1986.
