Biography
Daniel Hugh Kelly is an American actor. Born on 10 August 1952 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he graduated from St Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and earned an MFA from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, on a full scholarship.
He began his career in regional and Off-Broadway theatre, including productions at the Public Theater and Second Stage, and later appeared on Broadway in revivals of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (opposite Kathleen Turner) and Born Yesterday (opposite Madeline Kahn). Kelly is known for his role as Mark 'Skid' McCormick in the series Hardcastle and McCormick (1983–1986) and for guest appearances in Supernatural, The Mentalist, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, NCIS and Castle. His film credits include Cujo (1983), The Good Son (1993) and Star Trek: Insurrection (1998), in which he played Sojef.
