Biography
Daniel Pyne is an American screenwriter, television writer and producer. He wrote episodes for the series Miami Vice (1984), including under the pseudonym A. J. Edison, and served as executive story editor.
Pyne studied at Stanford University and UCLA film school. His screenwriting credits include Pacific Heights (1990), Doc Hollywood (1991), The Sum of All Fears (2002), The Manchurian Candidate (2004) and Fracture (2007). He also wrote for and showran Bosch (2015).
He made his directorial debut with Where's Marlowe? (1998) and has published several novels.
