Biography
Danielle Costa is a producer and Vice President of Visual Effects and Animation at Marvel Studios. She has worked in visual effects and production for Marvel since joining the studio in 2009, advancing through roles including visual effects coordinator and executive.
Her producing credits on animated series include What If...? (2021–2024), where she served as co-producer and producer, and X-Men '97 (2024), on which she was a producer. She has also produced or supervised episodes of I Am Groot (2022–2023), Marvel Zombies (2025), Eyes of Wakanda (2025) and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (2025).
Costa received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Animated Program as a producer on X-Men '97. She has contributed to visual effects on numerous Marvel feature films, including Thor (2011), The Avengers (2012), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Black Panther (2018).
