Biography
Danny Kallis is an American television writer and producer. He was born on 13 March 1957 in Los Angeles and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Claremont College.
He began writing for television in the early 1980s, with credits including episodes of Taxi (1978). He later wrote for series such as Silver Spoons (1982), Mama's Family (1983) and Who's the Boss? (1984). As a producer he worked on Who's the Boss?, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper (1992) and Phenom (1993).
Kallis created Smart Guy (1997), which he also directed and produced through his company Danny Kallis Productions, and co-created The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005) and its spin-off The Suite Life on Deck (2008). He has taught screenwriting at UCLA Extension and is a two-time Primetime Emmy nominee.
