Biography
Danny Smith is an American writer, executive producer and voice actor. He has worked on the animated series Family Guy since its debut in 1999, contributing as a writer to numerous episodes and providing voices for recurring characters including Ernie the Giant Chicken and the Evil Monkey.
Smith was born in 1959 in Smithfield, Rhode Island. He graduated from Rhode Island College in 1981. Earlier in his career he wrote for sitcoms such as 3rd Rock from the Sun and Nurses, and performed stand-up and improv with The Groundlings in Los Angeles. His acting credits include roles in Ted (2012) and The Three Stooges (2012).
