Biography
Daphna Levin is an Israeli writer, director and producer. Born in 1968 in Ramat Ha-Sharon, she began her career with short films and moved into television writing.
She co-created and wrote the original Israeli series Euphoria (2012), directed several episodes, and contributed to Be'Tipul (2005), also known as In Therapy. The latter earned her two Awards of the Israeli Television Academy for Best Script in a Drama Series.
Levin is credited as a creator of the original Euphoria on the HBO adaptation (2019), where she also serves as executive producer. Her other credits include writing and directing The Truth (2024).
