Biography

Dar Salim is an Iraqi-born Danish actor. He was born on 18 August 1977 in Baghdad and moved to Denmark as a child. He trained at the William Esper Studio in New York and began his career in Danish television in 2003.

He is known for roles including Amir Diwan in the series Borgen (2010), Qotho in Game of Thrones (2011), Peter in The Bridge (2011), and Ahmed in Guy Ritchie's The Covenant (2023). He appeared as Jamal Al Othman in the series Trapped (2015). Salim received a Bodil Award nomination for Best Actor for his performance in Go with Peace, Jamil (2008).
