Biography
Dare Aiyegbayo is a British screenwriter and playwright. She has written multiple episodes of the BBC soap EastEnders (2007–2017) and episodes of Waterloo Road and The Dumping Ground.
Her other credits include an episode of the Disney+ series Rivals (2024). She completed a Screenwriting MA at the London College of Printing and has worked in development for Vertigo Films and the BBC. In 2017 she was Papatango Resident Playwright, and her short film Ruby’s Slippers (2000) won awards including Best Short Film at the Black Filmmakers Festival.
