Biography
Darin Scott is an American film and television writer, director and producer. He studied chemical engineering at the University of Southern California before entering the film industry.
Scott produced Menace II Society (1993), which received an MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Movie of the Year. He wrote Tales from the Hood (1995) and directed Caught Up (1998). Later credits as director include Something Wicked (2014), Tales from the Hood 2 (2018), Deep Blue Sea 2 (2018) and Tales from the Hood 3 (2020). He has also directed episodes of the series Femme Fatales (2011–2012).
