Biography
Darrol Blake is a British television director and former production designer. He began his career as a design assistant on the BBC series Quatermass II and worked as a designer on programmes including Adam Adamant Lives! and The World of Wooster. He later moved into directing, with early credits on Doomwatch and the children's series Rainbow.
Blake directed the 1978 Doctor Who serial The Stones of Blood. His other directing work includes episodes of The Tomorrow People, Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Brookside and Crossroads, as well as Tucker's Luck. He retired in 2002.
