Biography
Dave Kumar is an actor, also credited as Dave Patnaik. He studied theatre at Duke University and later relocated to Los Angeles.
His television credits include The Dropout (2022) as the Officiant, The Rookie (2018) as Ghost King, How I Met Your Father (2022) as Amit, Grand Crew (2022) as Zachery, Shining Vale (2023) as Brian, The Walking Dead: Dead City (2023) as Damien, and Running Point (2025) as Professor Sekar. He also appeared in the film MR-9: Do or Die (2023) as TR-21.
Kumar wrote and directed the short film Seeing Past, the Future (2021), which was selected for the South Asian American Film Festival.
