Biography
Dave Stewart is an English musician, songwriter, record producer and occasional actor. Born David Allan Stewart on 9 September 1952 in Sunderland, he is best known as one half of the synth-pop duo Eurythmics alongside Annie Lennox.
Stewart composed the score for the 1995 film Showgirls and appeared as the London Hacker in Hackers (1995). He has written and produced for numerous artists and received multiple Brit Awards for production. Eurythmics were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2020 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
