David Benger is an American actor. He was born on 27 April 1991 in New York City.
He is known for his role as Carl in the 2005 film The Squid and the Whale, directed by Noah Baumbach. His other screen credits include the short films Site in Fishkill Creek (2004) as Timothy, Umney's Last Case (2006) as Peoria Smith, Civil War (2006) as Troy, Tie a Yellow Ribbon (2007) as the boy in the cafeteria, Goyta (2007) as the Hassidic boy, and Rory Fielding (2007) as Rory.
