Biography
David Bond (1914–1989) was an American character actor. Born Alfred Allegro in New York City, he appeared on Broadway, including as Iago in a production of Othello, before moving to Hollywood in the 1940s.
He had uncredited roles in films such as The Stranger (1946) and In a Lonely Place (1950), and later appeared in Julius Caesar (1953) and Spartacus (1960). His television credits included The Twilight Zone (1959), in which he played Jack the Ripper, and Kung Fu (1972). He also featured in The Return of the Living Dead (1985).
Bond died in West Hills, Los Angeles, California.
