Biography
David Bower (born 1969), also credited as David Karl Bower, is a Welsh actor. He is best known for playing David, the deaf brother of Charles (Hugh Grant), in the 1994 film Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Bower is deaf and a British Sign Language user. He serves as artistic director of Signdance Collective International, working with Isolte Avila. In addition to film and television roles such as in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates (1996) and Casualty (1998), he has performed in BBC Radio 4 productions including The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2008).
