Biography
David Crabtree is an American television editor and director. He began his career as an assistant editor at Roger Corman's New Horizons and advanced to lead editor, cutting more than 100 hours of prime-time series including 26 episodes of NYPD Blue (1993–2005). He has edited seven pilots that became series and worked on shows such as Psych, Las Vegas and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
Crabtree moved into directing in 2008, helming comedy shorts and the feature Broken Dreams (2009), which won awards at several festivals. His television directing credits include five episodes of Psych (from 2010), three of Rosewood, five of The Resident and two of All American. He has also directed and produced award-winning independent short films.
