Biography

David Freeman is a film and television editor. He edited The Full Monty (1997), for which he received a BAFTA nomination for Best Editing; the film was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.

His other feature credits include The Borrowers (1997), Mickey Blue Eyes (1999), How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008), Clash of the Titans (2010), Born to Be Blue (2015), Ill Manors (2012), Show Dogs (2018) and Slaughterhouse Rulez (2018). He has also worked in television, editing episodes of The Winter King (2023) and Gangs of London, and the RTS Award-winning drama Partygate (2023).

Freeman trained at the National Film and Television School and has also worked as a screenwriter.
