Biography
David Geffen is an American film producer, record executive and media proprietor. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on 21 February 1943, he began his career in the entertainment industry as a talent agent before moving into music and film production.
In 1982 he founded the Geffen Film Company. Among its productions are Personal Best (1982), Little Shop of Horrors (1986) and Interview with the Vampire (1994). In 1994 he co-founded DreamWorks SKG with Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg.
